Tree rescue kit. Designed for self rescue.
Utilizes:
- AustriAlpin figure 8 rappelling device
- Metal carabiner
- 35 feet of tubular nylon rated at 6000 pounds
- Small carry bag- colors vary
Operation:
- Descent rate is 2-8 feet per second (you control)
- Three step operation
1. Wrap carabiner around a large tree branch or through your paraglider risers
2. Attach the figure 8 device to your chest strap and rebuckle.
3. Remove risers from your harness and safely rapell down to the ground.
