Bearing set (2 pieces) for Compact Radial MZ 34, MZ313, Blackhawk 313, for the upper reduction re-drive that the propeller attaches to.
The most common symptom of a bad bearing(s) in the redrive are:
(1) the belt slips or walks off the reduction drive one rib at a time.
(2)The belt break or has excessive wear characterized by a very hot reduction drive.
(3) the tip of the blade rocks or wobbles (with the engine off) front to rear more than 1 inch. *Note, the prop wobbling and not "tracking" is not an indication of a bad bearing. It is the motor vibrating on the motor mounts and gives the illusion it is not tracking correct.
