It's been said, "a person who teaches himself has a fool for an instructor"
This option for instruction is designed for a future pilot who has purchased their equipment elsewhere. Complete paramotor instruction includes lessons and equipment until you are able to take your first solo flight. Whether it takes you two months or two years we will always be available to train. Many have attempted to teach themselves how to fly and most every situation ends in an accident of some sort, whether a failed takeoff or a hard landing. This in itself is not dangerous but the cost incured from broken pretective cages and propellers always exceeds the cost of training from an instructor. Training will prepare you for your first flight and give you the use of our equipment while you train. Our training uses a tried and true syllabus so you will always know where you are in the program and what to expect next. The training includes:
- Powered Paragliding helmet with internal intercom and two radios $325 value
- Pre Solo ground training, basic aerodynamics and theories of flight
- FAA regualtions and airspace
- Risk management and task steps for preflight
- Emergency situations and corrections
- Take off and landings sequences
- Inflight maneuvers
- Basic motor and canopy maintenance
- All equipment is provided until you are ready to solo, at that time you willl use your own equipment, or need to purchase it.
NOTE: If you purchase your paramotor equipment from our school, training is included at no additional cost.
